Erica Brentan, founder of Well Guided

Well Guided was founded by Erica Brentan, who has spent nearly two decades as a teacher, instructional coach, and professional development specialist.

After seeing the profound impact of social-emotional learning in her own New York City classroom and coaching teachers throughout New York and New Jersey, Erica founded Well Guided to bring practical, evidence-based strategies to all the adults who shape children's growth—whether educators, parents, or camp staff.

About Us

What our partners say

“The homework workshop that Erica hosted for our parents was so helpful.  She really worked to understand the questions our families had, and provided clear strategies to make homework time much more successful and positive for everyone!”

Karen H.
Parent Coordinator, Brooklyn NY

“I have seen a lot of progress in the SEL implementation of my teaching staff since Erica has been working with us.  Her collaborative nature has made her a life-line for our school and a sought-after resource.”

Gayle L.
Principal, Tenafly NJ

“Erica is clearly knowledgeable, but what made this different from other workshops I've been to is that she took the time to ask about what is currently going on in our school and what we feel our needs are.”

Drury T
STEAM teacher, Montclair NJ
